Saint Mark is celebrated on April 25th - a good reason for four district leaders and name representatives to meet every year for a cozy get-together.
It's now something of a tradition: After four district bosses have been blessed with the name Markus or Marcus, Markus Figl (Inner City), Markus Rumelhart (Mariahilf), Markus Reiter (Neubau) and Marcus Franz (Favoriten) come once year together to celebrate their name day together. This year, district boss Markus Figl invited his colleagues to “the delicatessen” on Neuer Markt - the ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and update themselves about current challenges in their neighborhoods.
This year, however, the group was not complete: Markus Rumelhart had to skip the meeting due to preparations for the opening of the exhibition “Zukunftsfitte Gumpendorfer Straße”. But the next name day will definitely come – we warmly congratulate you!
