In the middle of their Austrian tour, the renowned world champions of mental magic, Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, found themselves for a moment of peace and relaxation Marchfelderhof .

Away from the spotlight and the stage shows, they wanted to enjoy an evening in intimate togetherness and experience the unique atmosphere of this special place.

A magical break in Austria

For Amélie, the Marchfelderhof was more than just a place of hospitality and cuisine – it was magic. “We've heard a lot about this house, and today we finally have the opportunity to see it live. There’s probably only one thing like this in the world,” she enthuses. Thommy Ten agrees and is convinced that Los Angeles restaurateurs could learn a lesson from the Marchfelderhof's hospitality and ambience.

Culinary enchantment with Marchfeld asparagus

Under the direction of chef Christian Langer, the magician duo were treated to a variety of Marchfeld asparagus dishes that enchanted their senses. While there are still three upcoming shows in Linz, Graz and Vienna on the tour schedule, Thommy and Amélie are already looking forward to the highlight of their year - their upcoming summer wedding in southern Styria. With sparkling eyes, Amélie talks about the romantic plans for this special day.

Magical connection

While chatting with host Peter Grossmann, they noticed an interesting thing in common: Both Amélie and Grossmann had completed their training at the same tourism school in St. Pölten, where well-known personalities such as Heinz Hanner and Toni Mörwald got their start. “Whether you’re a hearth magician or a stage magician… St. Pölten seems to be a magic factory for everyone,” smiles Grossmann.

Finally, Grossmann managed to get Thommy and Amélie to promise that they would be back at the big August show “Magic in Vienna” at the State Opera.
